Hi Everyone! I am Amy, the face behind Kiss The Bride!

Kiss the Bride began back in 2007 and was the first to offer a WPIC certified planner on PEI. The gentle island will forever be our home, but we are now lucky enough to say that the business has grown and we have a second location out of Halifax, NS. I have been certified through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada now for over a decade. This is the only government recognized and regulated certification program in Canada and I can say that they truly have been an exceptional source of knowledge and support throughout the years.

I was drawn to the industry because of my passion for love and everything to do with weddings! It has been an adventure that has created amazing relationships and the most wonderful of memories.

A lot of people ask, ‘Why Wedding’s?’, and for me the answer is simple. I believe that true love is rare. We meet many people on our journey and if we are lucky, we will meet that one person that has the ability to create such a connection with us that it feels our souls were always intertwined; to find that person that we look at with a whole new meaning of life, is something to be celebrated! Everyone’s love story is different and as a planner I get to witness yours up close and personal and that is my why! On top of that, I absolutely love anything to do with planning, organizing and delegating. I get to jump in from the beginning stages of the planning logistics and watch the magic of a wedding come together on that day!  I go above and beyond for each and every one of my clients, I invest myself and my heart in to each event to ensure that as a couple you get to live in the moment of your love story and enjoy the day as much as any guest attending!

For the small part of the year I am not coordinating weddings, I most likely will have my hands in a home renovation project of some sort. To date I have successfully flipped three homes and it has become my other passion. From renovations, home décor, real estate, you name it, if it has to do with property, I’m in! Besides that, I love travelling, spending a free summer day at the beach, indulging in a good book, and spending time with the people I love! I am made up of all the people closest to me in my life. My family and friends are extremely important to me, they all hold me together and definitely have contributed to making me who I am today! Their love, support and encouragement is something I cherish and will be forever grateful for!
